Pak Jaesam

[1] Park Jaesam was born on April 10, 1933, in Japan.

Park attended Korea University, but dropped out.

[2] He worked as a reporter for the Daehan-Ilbo and an Editor of the Hyundai Munhak-sa.

In the 1960s Park was a member of the literary club Sahwajip (along with Park Huijin, Sung Chan-gyeong, Park Seongryong, Lee Seonggyo, Lee Changdae and Kang Wiseok[3]), and He served as the first editorial committee of the bimonthly publication "The Han Kyorerh Literature" newly launched in 1993. and the Secretary General of the Korean Poets' Association.

[2] Park's first published poem was “In the Water of the River” (Gangmureseo), which was published in Contemporary Literature, at the recommendation of SEo Jeongju, in 1955.
