Parkwood is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kitsap County, Washington, United States.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 7,213 people, 2,768 households, and 1,915 families residing in the CDP.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 84.5% White, 2.5% African American, 1.2% Native American, 4.3% Asian, 1.0% Pacific Islander, 1.5% from other races, and 4.9% from two or more races.

There were 2,768 households, out of which 36.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.0% were married couples living together, 11.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.8% were non-families.

24.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
