Sir Patrick Bardon Hine (born 14 July 1932) is a former senior Royal Air Force commander.
He was awarded the Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in the Air in the 1960 Birthday Honours List.
[12] On 1 July 1975, he was promoted to air commodore[13] and was appointed Director of Public Relations for the RAF.
[15] Promoted to air chief marshal on 1 July 1985,[16] he became Vice-Chief of the Defence Staff that year.
[18] He was promoted to a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath in the 1989 New Year Honours List.
He was appointed a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire in the 1991 Birthday Honours List.
