Patrick Tam (biologist)

Patrick Ping Leung Tam (Chinese: 譚秉亮} is an Australian embryologist currently at University of Sydney,[1] the Deputy Director of the Childrens Medical Research institute,[2] the Distinguished Professor and Mok Hing-Yiu Distinguished Visiting Professor at University of Hong Kong.

He is an Elected Fellow of the Royal Society (2011),[3] Australian Academy of Science,[4] Royal Society of Biology and Society of Biology.

[5] He is a cited pioneer in his field for studying mouse embryos, cells and biology.

[6] He is a member of the Editorial Board for Developmental Cell.
