Patrick Walsh (January 1, 1840 – March 19, 1899) was an American politician and journalist.
After the war, he was elected as State Representative in the Georgia General Assembly, serving as a Democrat, from 1872 until 1876.
In 1894, the Governor of Georgia appointed Walsh to fill an unexpired term in the United States Senate.
Her mother was a native of London, England, and when about ten years of age immigrated to the United States and settled in Cambridge.
[2] Walsh was later elected mayor of Augusta, and served from 1897 until his death on March 19, 1899.
