Patterson Township, Pennsylvania

Patterson Township is located in north-central Beaver County at 40°44′48″N 80°19′56″W / 40.74667°N 80.33222°W / 40.74667; -80.33222 (40.746765, -80.332348).

[3] According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 1.64 square miles (4.25 km2), of which 0.006 square miles (0.015 km2), or 0.35%, is water.

Across the Beaver River, Patterson Township runs adjacent with New Brighton.

As of the census[6] of 2010, there were 3,029 people, 1,483 households, and 890 families residing in the township.

There were 1,261 households, out of which 29.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.4% were married couples living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.4% were non-families.
