Paul DeVillers

Paul J. DeVillers, PC (born March 11, 1946) is a former Canadian politician.

He served as Member of Parliament for the Ontario riding of Simcoe North from 1993 to 2005.

In February 1996 he was named parliamentary secretary to Stéphane Dion, then Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs.

In January 2002 he was appointed Secretary of State (Amateur Sport) and Deputy Leader of the Government in the House of Commons.

Before entering politics, he studied at the University of Ottawa and practised municipal law.
