Paul Delaney (hurler)

Paul Delaney (born 27 November 1966[1]) is an Irish retired hurler.

His league and championship career with the Tipperary senior team spanned eleven seasons from 1986 to 1997.

Delaney made his debut on the inter-county scene when he was selected for the Tipperary minor team in 1984.

The highlight of his eleven year senior career came in 1991 when he won his sole All-Ireland medal.

After being chosen on the Munster inter-provincial team for the first time in 1987, Ryan was an automatic choice on the starting fifteen for a number of years.
