Paul McKinney (politician)

Paul McKinney (April 16, 1923 – June 28, 1995) was an American politician who served as a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State Senate for the 8th district from 1975 to 1982.

Merchant Marines during and after World War II.

He moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the late 1940s and attended Palmer Business College.

In the 1960s he owned and operated a television sales and repair shop.

One of his daughters, Diane McKinney-Whetstone, became an award-winning author and faculty member of the University of Pennsylvania's creative writing program.
