Parallelly, affluent Dasavataram leads a delightful life with his wife & two children, Vasu & Manjula.

Though Dasavataram's family agrees to the nuptial, Manjula rejects discerning Uma as Raghu's sibling.

Forthwith, Vasu leaves abroad, and in a tragedy, Manjula loses her eyesight due to Uma's fault when everyone indicts her.

Manjula's parents shift her to Bangalore for treatment, where Raghu lands; unbeknownst to her, he serves her.
