Penamacor

Penamacor (Portuguese pronunciation: [pɨnɐmɐˈkoɾ] ⓘ or [ˌpenɐmɐˈkoɾ]) is a municipality in the district of Castelo Branco in Portugal.

This town has been the homeland of Vamba, the king of the Visigoths, who ruled the Iberian Peninsula from 672 to 682.
