Perry Township, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania

[4] Mahoning Creek, a west-flowing tributary of the Allegheny River, runs through the southern part of the township.

Unincorporated communities in the township include Valier, Fordham, Hamilton, Frostburg, and Grange.

As of the census[6] of 2000, there were 1,289 people, 498 households, and 369 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 99.61% White, 0.08% Asian, and 0.31% from two or more races.

21.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
