Peter Kauzer (born 8 September 1983) is a Slovenian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 1999.

He finished 13th in the K1 event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing after being eliminated in the semi-finals.

Four years later at the London games he was one of the top favorites for gold in the K1 event.

He won six medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with two golds (K1: 2009,[3] 2011[4]) and four bronzes (K1: 2017, K1 team: 2005, 2017, 2021).

At the European Championships he has won a total of 13 medals (6 golds, 4 silvers and 3 bronzes).
