Peter Nicolaï

Peter Dick Nicolaï (born 28 June 1947) is a Dutch lawyer and politician of the Party for the Animals.

[2][3] He attended the Spinoza Lyceum [nl] from 1959 to 1965, and studied law at the University of Amsterdam from 1965 to 1969.

[3][4] Between 1968 and 1975, he also worked as a freelance journalist for, among others, VPRO, Vrij Nederland and De Groene Amsterdammer.

[3] Having specialised in administrative law, he has often proceeded against the Dutch government, representing various (environmental) activist groups.

[5] From 1989 to 2004, he worked as a professor of public law at the Open University of the Netherlands.
