[1] Phil was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand and sailed with his family from a very young age.

[2] He started competitive racing at the age of 10 and currently resides in Sweden.

[1] 2012 – Achieved Bronze in the ISAF Match Racing World Championship.

[3] 2013 – Achieved Bronze in the ISAF Match Racing World Championship.

[3] 2016 – won World Championship World Match Racing Tour as part of team Phil Robertson Racing.
