According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.18 square miles (0.47 km2), all land.

33.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

The racial makeup of the city was 87.35% White, 3.61% Native American, and 9.04% from two or more races.

About 8.8% of families and 9.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 13.9% of those under the age of eighteen and 7.1% of those 65 or over.

Students south of Highway 1806 had Underwood, Hazen, and Stanton as choices.

There was a movement to have Pick City join the Hazen school district.
