Pilley is a small village in the civil parish of Boldre, in the New Forest national park in Hampshire, England.
Pilley is home to Boldre War Memorial Hall,[1] and an Anglican chapel dedicated to Saint Nicholas.
[2] The village also has a primary school (named after William Gilpin),[3] and a pre-school.
[9] During the 15th century record is found of small estates held by various families, and in 1505 the manor was in the possession of Roger Filey, who left as heir a niece Joan, aged nine years.
[10] Bull Hill is a small hamlet situated on the south-east side of Pilley.
