Pimelodella

Pimelodella is a genus of three-barbeled catfishes.

Pimelodella is the largest genus in the family.

[1] This genus is found on both sides of the Andes, ranging from Panama to Paraguay and southern Brazil.

[1] With the exception of P. chagresi, all members of the genus are restricted to South America.

This genus includes two species of troglobitic catfishes, P. kronei and P.
