Piploda

Piploda is a town and a Nagar Parishad in Ratlam district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Before Indian independence, Piploda was the capital of the princely state of the same name.

The rulers acceded to the Government of India on 15 June 1948, and Piploda became part of Ratlam District of Madhya Bharat state.

As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Piploda had a population of 7,302.
