Pistakee Highlands is a census-designated place (CDP) in McHenry County, Illinois, United States.

It consists primarily of an unincorporated area of McHenry County adjoining Pistakee Bay, within the McHenry post office, and is located just northeast of Johnsburg.

As of the census[7] of 2000, there were 3,812 people, 1,342 households, and 1,041 families residing in the CDP.

There were 1,400 housing units at an average density of 974.4 per square mile (376.2/km2).

18.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
