[2][3] The tower is located on the shores of the Colombian Caribbean zone, in the Bocagrande district of Cartagena.
It consists of a shopping center carrying the same name and the Hyatt Regency Cartagena hotel, the best and most modern hotel in Cartagena de Indias and one of the tallest skyscrapers in both Colombia and South America.
To the north of the main tower is an annex skyscraper called h2, which also belongs to the Plaza Bocagrande complex.
To date, these are the tallest buildings built by the British architectural firm.
[9] Just south of Calle 12 is the Hotel Estelar, the tallest building in the city.
