As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 235 people, 96 households, and 74 families residing in the township.

There were 96 households, out of which 31.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.8% were married couples living together, 2.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.9% were non-families.

22.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 11.3% of families and 17.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 33.7% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those 65 or over.
