According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 30.5 square miles (78.9 km2), of which 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2), or 0.19%, are water.

There were 111 households, out of which 27.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.4% were married couples living together, 6.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.9% were non-families.

24.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 7.3% of families and 13.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 19.1% of those under the age of 18 and 9.8% of those 65 or over.
