Poltergeist (website)

Poltergeist (also Polter.pl, old rpg.net.pl) is one of the most prominent [1] Polish web portals dedicated to speculative fiction.

In 2009 the site changed its look, and in 2011 a payable service called Polter plus was introduced, which offered improved ease of use of the portal and the opportunity to win awards in cyclic lotteries.

Polter.pl got a few awards and mentions during its existence: On 1 July 2010 Maciej Reputakowski became the editor-in-chief of the portal (before him, the function was claimed by Przemysław Prekurat).

Before them, editors-in-chief were, in order: Tomasz Dzierżek, Maciej Dzierże, Rafał Błaszczak, Przemysław Prekurat and Piotr Brewczyński.

Poltergeist possesses one of the largest speculative fiction forums in Poland, with over 49000 registered users and almost 1 million posts.
