As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 173 people, 61 households, and 48 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 96.53% White, 0.58% Native American, and 2.89% from two or more races.

There were 61 households, out of which 39.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.6% were married couples living together, 8.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.3% were non-families.

18.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
