Potok (pronounced [ˈpɔːtɔk]) is a small settlement in the hills east of Idrija in the traditional Inner Carniola region.

The name of the settlement literally means 'creek, stream'.

Jakopnik Creek, which eventually feeds the Poljane Sora River, flows through the village.
