Adawan Amal Praba Ganesan (Tamil: பிரபா கணேசன்; born 4 January 1964) is a Sri Lankan politician and former member of parliament.
[5] He was re-elected at the 2009 provincial council election, this times as a United National Front (UNF) candidate.
[7] In August 2010 Ganesan defected to the governing United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA).
[10] Ganesan was appointed Deputy Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology on 21 August 2014.
[11][12] At the 2015 presidential election, whilst other Indian Tamil politicians flocked to support common opposition candidate Maithripala Sirisena, Ganesan remained loyal to President Mahinda Rajapaksa, leader of the UPFA.
