Pristimantis elegans

Pristimantis elegans is a species of frog in the family Strabomantidae.

It is endemic to the Colombian Andes and occurs on the Cordillera Oriental in the Cundinamarca and Boyacá Departments.

[4] Calling males in the Chingaza National Natural Park measured 37–40 mm (1.5–1.6 in).

[5] Pristimantis elegans occurs in páramos and cloud forests at elevations of 2,600–3,650 m (8,530–11,980 ft) above sea level.

It is threatened by habitat loss and degradation caused by mining, agriculture, and cattle ranching.
