Prix de Condé

The Prix de Condé is a Group 3 flat horse race in France open to two-year-old thoroughbreds.

It is run at Longchamp over a distance of 1,800 metres (about 1⅛ miles), and it is scheduled to take place each year in October.

It was named after the Princes of Condé, the former owners of the Château de Chantilly.

The Prix de Condé was cancelled once during World War II, in 1939.

The present system of race grading was introduced in 1971, and the Prix de Condé was classed at Group 3 level.
