Pudupattinam, Chengalpattu

Pudupattinam is a census town in Chengalpattu district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

It is famous for being located on the southern end of the township at Kalpakkam while Sadras is situated at the northern end.

It is only a few kilometres from the reactor at IGCAR and MAPS As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Pudupattinam had a population of 20,897.

Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%.
