Nowadays, the international station role is exclusively assumed by La Tour de Carol-Enveitg.
[1] This station on the Trans-Pyrenean Railway, as the Ripoll-Puigcerdà line was known, was inaugurated at the end of 1922 when the section between La Molina and Puigcerdà was opened, a few months after the opening of the Ribes de Freser - La Molina section.
[2] Six years later, in 1928, the line was extended to La Tour de Carol.
[3] In 1967, SNCF trains ceased arriving at the station, with the route being shortened to La Tour de Carol.
The main platform is equipped with a canopy along the entire passenger building.
