The Saints won the Second Division League without conceding a single loss during the 2005/06 season.
After a promising start to the season, winning the first knockoutcompetition, Qala were expected to mount a serious challenge for promotion in 2009–10.
The following two seasons, with a team made up mostly with local players who have been playing for the club's nursery since a very young age, they were a huge competitors for the titles together with Nadur Youngsters.
On both days of the finals, streets of Nadur were lit with citronella candles and limoncello was served for free for all clients and pub crawlers, because after securing the only title for the 2023/2024 with shady results thanks to money talks, and by mocking other local teams, they still managed to lose two finals within a few weeks apart from each other against what they tend to call 'il-huta z-zghira' (the small fish), referring to the Qala Saints team.
