It operates on-demand, worldwide charters and caters almost exclusively to the royal family of Qatar and government officials.
The majority of its fleet is painted in the standard livery of Qatari flag carrier Qatar Airways.
While commercial flights of Qatar Airways operate at Hamad International Airport since 2014, the Qatar Amiri Flight remains based in the old Doha International Airport.
The Qatar Amiri Flight fleet comprises the following aircraft (as of 03 August 2024): Though not part of the Amiri fleet, a Boeing 747SP and fourth Boeing 747-8i were operated for the Qatari elite till 2016 and 2018 respectively.
The Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani gifted the Boeing 747-8 to Turkey in September 2018.
