Quebracho is a small town (villa) in Paysandú Department in Uruguay.
It is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) into a road that splits off Route 3 in a westward direction, about 52 kilometres (32 mi) north-northeast of the department capital city of Paysandú.
On 20 August 1947, the existing "urban nucleus" was elevated to "Pueblo" (village) category by the Act of Ley Nº 10.923.
On 15 October 1963, its status was elevated to "Villa" (town) by the Act of Ley Nº 13.167.
