It was written by Luc Plamondon and Erown, and produced by Jannick Top and Serge Perathoner.

It topped the airplay chart in Quebec for seven weeks and was nominated for the Félix Award for Most Popular Song of the Year.

"Quelqu'un que j'aime, quelqu'un qui m'aime" was written by French-Canadian lyricist Luc Plamondon and Italian composer Roberto Masala aka Erown, and produced by Jannick Top and Serge Perathoner.

[1] It was one of four new songs written for the album Dion chante Plamondon, which was released in Canada in November 1991.

[1] In August 1992, "Quelqu'un que j'aime, quelqu'un qui m'aime" was issued as the fourth promotional single in Quebec, after "Des mots qui sonnent", "L'amour existe encore" and "Je danse dans ma tête".
