Quinebaug, Connecticut

Quinebaug (/ˈkwɪnəbɔːɡ/ KWIH-nə-bawg) is a village[2] and census-designated place (CDP) in Thompson, a town in Windham County, Connecticut, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 11.8 km2 (4.5 mi2), of which 11.3 km2 (4.4 mi2) is land and 0.4 km2 (0.2 mi2) (3.74%) is water.

The CDP is located where the Quinebaug River enters Connecticut from Massachusetts.

26.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

None of the families and 4.1% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 4.8% of those over 64.
