Quinninup, Western Australia

Quinninup is a rural locality of the Shire of Manjimup in the South West region of Western Australia.

The South Western Highway forms much of its eastern border, as does the Warren River to the north.

[7] The St Erney's Homestead dates to the early 1900s and is a rammed earth building with jarrah floors and ceilings.

[8] Quinninup itself was established in 1924 as part of the Group Settlement Scheme, with 17 families initially settling there, a number that grew to 40 at its peak.

[9] A second wave of settlers came to Quinninup in 1944, to work in the local timber mill, operated by Millars.
