Różyniec

Różyniec [ruˈʐɨɲɛt͡s] (German: Rosentahl) is a village in the administrative district of Bolesławiec, Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

It is situated in the south-western part of the country, in the territory of the municipality of Gromadka, approximately 6 km south-west of the village of the same name and the seat of the municipal authorities, approximately 12 km north-east of Bolesławiec, the capital of the county, and approximately 95 km west of Wrocław, the capital of the province.

In 2011, according to the census conducted by the Central Statistical Office, the population was 399.2 Różyniec belonged to Germany until 1945.

The village's origins can be traced back to Slav colonisation in the 11th and 12th centuries.

Previously, education had been provided on the farm of the owner of Chalet Baumann.
