D55 motorway (Czech Republic)

The construction of the north-eastern part of the Otrokovice bypass was the first to start in February 2002 and was put into operation in October 2006.

In 2008, two connecting sections around Hulín started to be built and were put into operation as expressways at the end of 2010.

First, the south-eastern part of the Otrokovice bypass was being built from October 2018 to November 2021, then the sections Babice - Staré Město (from September 2020),[2] Staré Město - Moravský Písek (from August 2021) and Moravský Písek - Bzenec (from September 2022), which were put into operation in 2024.

In April 2023, the construction of the Olomouc - Kokory section and the bridge near Napajedel began.

Construction work on the sections Napajedla-Babice and Kokory-Přerov should start in 2026 and their commissioning is planned for 2029.
