The network caters to a wide range of clients in multiple different sectors including mixed-use, education, healthcare, energy, residential, government and hospitality.

[5] RMJM began to take on more projects as the need for public sector construction grew,[4] expanding to include a Glasgow studio before extending its reach beyond the British borders.

Around 2010, management difficulties meant the RMJM workforce shrunk while they were subject to lawsuits and other challenges with their international studios[6] Between 2011 and 2019, the company saw a change in its fortunes as it began to expand its services once more.
