Rafael Jódar

Rafael Jódar (born 17 September 2006) is a Spanish tennis player.

[1] He won an U18 grass tournament in Roehampton in June 2024 prior to a run in the juniors at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships that saw him became the last surviving Spaniard in the competition and included a convincing straight sets victory over Tomasz Berkieta for the loss of only three games.

[2] He lost in the quarter finals of the singles to Japanese player Naoya Honda.

[3] He also reached the quarter finals of the boys doubles playing alongside compatriot Andreas Santamaria Roig before they lost to Czech pair Jan Kumstát and Jan Klimas.

[6][7] Jódar is from Madrid,[8] He signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Virginia from 2024.
