Raikia is a town and a Notified Area Council in Kandhamal district in the Indian state of Odisha.

The town has many educational institutions like Jivan Jyoti Mahavidyalaya (where BA, BSc are the courses you can opt for), St. Catherine's Girls High School (co-education till std 5 and unisex education after words), Bijay High School, Govt.

It is a place surrounded by hills and has a lot of small and big waterfalls around it.

The most spectacular of the lot is situated at a distance of about 10 km Mondasur kuti among the local people is situated at a distance of about 10 km from Raikia.
