Railways cricket team

[1] The team is run by the Railways Sports Promotion Board which fields the Railways cricket team in domestic cricket competitions in India such as the Ranji Trophy.

[2] For most of its history, the Indian Railways has met little success in the Ranji Trophy.

However, in recent years since 2000, Railways have won the trophy twice and become runners-up one time.
