Rainer Böhm (23 February 1952 – 21 May 2013) was a German composer.
[1][2] Born in Berlin, Böhm studied composition and conducting at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler".
Afterwards he was a master student for composition at the Academy of Arts, Berlin.
He worked with theatre directors such as Heiner Müller, Christoph Schroth [de], Claus Peymann [de] and Manfred Wekwerth.
He also wrote several scores for the documentary film director Volker Koepp.
