He previously served as Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning in Indonesia between June 2022 and October 2024.
[3][4] Raja is an alumnus of the Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School, Garut, West Java.
[8] A former General Chair of the Central Leadership of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (PP IPM) for the 2000–2002 period,[5] he also became the executive director of the Maarif Institute.
[9][10] In 2009, he ran in the 2009 Legislative General Election from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), representing West Java's IX Electoral District (Subang, Sumedang, and Majalengka Regencies).
[9][10][12][13] On 3 June 2024, Raja was appointed as the acting deputy head of the Nusantara Capital City Authority following the resignation of Dhony Rahajoe.
