Rampart Airport (IATA: RMP, ICAO: PFMP, FAA LID: RMP) is a state owned, public use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) east of the central business district of Rampart,[1] in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska.
As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 224 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008,[2] 159 enplanements in 2009, and 224 in 2010.
[3] It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation airport.
[4] Rampart Airport has one runway designated 11/29 with a gravel surface measuring 3,520 by 75 feet (1,073 x 23 m).
For the 12-month period ending December 31, 2005, the airport had 350 aircraft operations, an average of 29 per month: 71% air taxi and 29% general aviation.
