Ranjan is from Kerala and now stays at Valsarvakom, Chennai with his wife and daughter.
His works includes Meesa madhavan, Classmates, Udayananu Tharam, Thuruppugulan (2006 film), Rajamanikyam, C.I.D.Moosa, Raavanaprabhu and Thattathin Marayathu.
