The club is situated in Tower Street, on the southside of the city.
The club no longer fields hurling teams but continues to participate in the Seandun junior C football competitions.

Therefore, Redmonds were the Cork representatives on several occasions, and in 1892 were All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship winners.
