Regents of the University of Colorado

Established under Article IX, Section 12 of the Constitution of Colorado, it has nine voting members.

[1] They select a chair and vice-chair from their own membership.

[2] The board's nine voting members (regents) are chosen in biennial partisan elections and serve staggered six-year terms.

[3] In 2022, Democratic governor Jared Polis appointed Republican Ken Montera to the 5th district.
