Reginald Waterfield

Reginald Waterfield (20 December 1867 – 8 March 1967) was an Anglican priest[1] in the 20th century.

[4] He was assistant master at Rugby School,[5] then Principal of Cheltenham College, then Archdeacon of Cirencester (renamed Archdeacon of Cheltenham in 1919).

[8] He died in March 1967 aged 99 years and, following cremation, his ashes were buried in the Lady Arbour at Hereford Cathedral.

[9] Waterfield was a prominent Freemason, and served as Provincial Grand Master of Herefordshire from 1923 to 1946.

Reginald Lawson Waterfield (1900-1986), haematologist and astronomer, was his son.
